Securing a vital fuel supply on the way to net zero
As the world accelerates towards a carbon-free future, Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) is reemerging as a ‘clean’ fossil fuel that’s yet to reach its full potential on the global stage. With overall demand forecast to rise by 60 per cent by 2040 – largely driven by new market growth and significant emission reduction targets in heavy industry – this ‘traditional’ fuel still has a significant role to play in the modern era.
