The following Bolting Material grades are covered by standard API 20E BSL – 1/2/3:
ASTM A193 Grades B7/B7M
ASTM A194 Grades 2H/2HM, 7/7M
ASTM A320 Grades L7/L7M, L43
ASTM A540 Grade B23
All products shall meet the requirements of the referenced ASTM specification, and the modifications specified by the API 20E standard and the relevant bolting specification level.

API 20E BSL -1/2/3: Requirements as per BSL
| BSL – 1 | Threads shall be UNRC/UNR Furnace calibration to API 6A Annex M Reduction Ratio 4:1 min |

| BSL – 2 | Parts stress relieved after thread rolling Furnace loading and Quench media to API 6HT, and will include furnace load diagrams Phosphorus and Sulphur content 0.025% max Boron 0.0005% All testing by RM. Supplier shall be performed by us. |

| BSL – 3 | As per BSL-2 Min. One thermocouple to be attached during heat treatment Continuous and Induction heat treatment is prohibited Reduction ration 10:1 min Phosphorus and Sulphur content 0.015% max All testing by RM. Supplier shall be performed by us. |
