ASTM A193 Grade B8A is an austenitic stainless steel used throughout the Oil and Gas industry as a cost-effective material for general connections including valves, flanges, and fittings where corrosion protection is required. Provided as standard in a class 1A solution annealed condition for general use. B8A differs from standard ASTM A193 B8 material in that the finished form undergoes a further final carbide solution treatment to soften the material for use in specific application.
