ASTM A194 Grade 2HM nuts are carbon steel, high tensile nuts used predominantly in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, used in conjunction with ASTM A193 B7M studs or head fasteners.
100% hardness checked, achieving a Brinell hardness of 159 to 235. These nuts are tempered or stress relieved after machining making them suitable for use in environments which ASTM A194 2H are not.
